Meguiar's Hyper Wash D110 5L

Hi All

Newbie here ... Not sure if this is the right place to post this...Consumer or Proffesional...

Hyper Wash D110 ... What colour is it supposed to be?

All photo's online show an orange colour ... but also saw Meguiar's Hyper-Wash in a "clear-ish" colour as well...

Is this correct ?

Hi AJ and welcome to the forum.

All of the Hyperwash that I have ever used has been an orange colour. Where have you seen the "clear" Hyperwash advertised/sold?

Thanks for the Welcome ... (Think we were in HKG last year .. we work for the same Company VC ???)

I bought the Hyper-Wash at one of the Meguiar's stockist here in CPT... Clear-ish colour ...


Greg from Meguiar's also replied to an email I sent that Meguiar's Hyper-Wash should be the "Orange-Red" colour ... (Thanks Greg)

So returned it today and they replaced it with the "Orange-Red" coloured Hyper-Wash ... No problems/complaints from their side ... Just think it's a label problem ...

So .. I'm happy now ... 1:400 .. gonna last me a long time ... Will probably give some to my bro's ....

Do you use a pressure washer, e.g. Karcher at all? If you do, I would recommend that you invest in a foam gun. Hyperwash + foam gun is brilliant.

Hi Woodie (Hope she liked the princess dress.. hehe! almost a year ago now hey!)

Just new to Auto Detailing ... learning new things everyday ....

The Karcher Foam Gun/High Pressure cleaner would be the next step (not sure which one though) ...


I was actually at Makro yesterday looking at some ... Don't think they stock the "Foam Nozzle" though ... Although the Karcher website states the "Foam Nozzle" works on the entry level K2.21 (which is cheapest of the Karcher Range)... not sure which one would provide good enough foam action ....

Anyone here using the Karcher K2.21 with Foam Nozzle? Which Foam Nozzle the 0.3L or 0.6L?



Hoping to learn from all of you detailing guru's ...

Time has flown by - the dress no longer fits, but it still has a prime spot in her wardrobe.

As far as Karchers are concerned, I would recommend the K2.9 as the lowest model in the range to consider for regular car washing and random other cleaning tasks around the home. It's a decent machine at a good price. Every now and then Game or Makro have them on special at +-R1K.

Don't bother with the Karcher foam nozzle. It does produce a bit of foam. but nothing like the foaming action you see across detailing forums around the world. Although it's a bit more pricey (+-R650), I recommend getting something like the one reviewed in this link. It is excellent quality and performance to match and is what I have in my detailing arsenal.

As the detailing bug bites, you'll find yourself wanting more and more goodies and toys. My advice is to take it slow - don't try to build up a monster detailing kit overnight. Rather buy supplies and tools as you discover the need for them and over a period of time you'll put together a decent kit.

What is your Routine?
Products used? Etc...

Maybe ,where possible, we should start "vehicle/paint colour specific" threads and everyone coming across one could relate their experience detailing it? Etc,etc...
