Our goal is to create an Online community in S.A. for learning about car care and detailing. A place for like minded "Car Crazy" enthusiasts to share their knowledge and learn from the knowledge of others.
The Meguiar's Forums are a place for helping others. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly and polite community for constructive conversation. We welcome everybody and encourage participation. Your questions, answers and comments are all welcome provided the general guidelines as discussed below are observed.
While the forum administrator will monitor the forum and the content therein, Meguiar's South Africa cannot be held liable for any inappropriate content that may be missed by the administrator. Should you find any content on this site offensive please report it immediately to the forum admin by e-mailing
greg@meguiars.co.za or calling 011 397 3761. If it is found that the complaint is valid, immediate steps will be taken to remove such content.
This is a public forum. With the exception of the forum administrators, the views, opinions and other content as posted into the forum does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of Meguiar's. Meguiar's can therefore not be held liable or accountable for such content or the results of actions eminating from such content.
The forum administrators reserve the right to edit or delete any post at any time as is deemed necessary, should said post not conform to the Rules of the Forum as stated below.
Rules of the Forum
1. No personal attacks toward members will be tolerated.
2. No arguing with Moderators or Administrators.
3. You are welcome to disagree but you must be polite.
4. No bashing any company or their products.
7. Keep language "G Rated", this includes insinuations. The use of certain offensive words in posts will result in you being unable to submit your post.
8. Only appropriate pictures suitable for all audiences will be allowed, this includes avatars.
9. No commercial messages will be allowed. This includes web site links, phone numbers and email addresses. The forum is not a free platform for other to advertise.
10. Only one account per member! The only conceivable reason for multiple accounts, would be for fraudulent activity. You will be banned for this action.
11. Continuously breaking the rules to disrupt the Online community will result in you being banned from the forum with little or no warning.
12. Please do not try to conduct private business, even if this relates to Meguiar's products or services with other forum members using the public forums. If you wish do this, use the Private Message (PM) function to keep your business private.
Signatures Rules:
1. No links to commercial web sites
2. Nothing rude, crude or impolite will be allowed
3. No using the signature to covertly or otherwise advertise products or services but you may include your company name provided it meets all other criteria.
Justice for Breaking the Rules:
We are human and we all make mistakes, however, there will be consequences for your actions as follows:
Blue = Polite warning via email or PM to remind you of the rules.
Green = Warning and Possible one-seven day suspension.
Red = You will be banned immediately with little or no warning.
Exceptions:
*You may include your company name and your title in your signature as long as it is not a clickable link.
